Louise Baldock is the Deputy Regional Director of the Labour Party in the North West. After the 2001 General Election Louise supported three Members of Parliament in their constituency offices. She is Chair of Finance and Resources at Liverpool City Council. She has set up her own marketing company, and until recently was the membership secretary for East Liverpool Business.
After spending time abroad, Drew Durning now resides and works in Stockton South, where he manages an online business selling organic products. He is highly interested in environmental issues and is a member of the organic farming charity The Soil Association and transition town movement, which envisages an oil-free future. Drew is also keen to promote a positive approach to immigration.
Ted Strike is contesting the seat for UKIP for the first time and is a life-long resident of Stockton South. He is co-founder of the aid charity Chernobyl Children’s Relief, which was established in 1996 in the aftermath of the 1986 Chernobyl Disaster and he also runs a small business.
